U.S. Exhibitors Participate in Singapore Fintech Festival 2017

The U.S. Commercial Service was the strategic partner for the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s 2017 FinTech Festival, where more than 30 U.S. exhibitors showcased their cutting edge financial technology solutions.

U.S. Embassy Singapore was excited to kick off the second annual Singapore Fintech Festival with a strong American presence. The U.S. Commercial Service was the strategic partner for the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s 2017 FinTech Festival, where more than 30 U.S. exhibitors showcased their cutting edge financial technology solutions for businesses in Singapore and the Asian region.

Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath, Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim at U.S. Embassy in Singapore participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony during the inauguration of the U.S. Pavilion, which was attended by the U.S. Fintech Business Delegation to Singapore, as well as buyer delegations from ASEAN countries, and guests from the festival.

Chargé Syptak-Ramnath also hosted a reception in honor of the 25 person Business Delegation that traveled to Singapore from the United States.  The reception, sponsored by MasterCard, also celebrated the launch of the 2018 edition of “Crossroads Guide to Doing Business in Singapore & Southeast Asia.” The annual publication,  compiled by the U.S. Commercial Service and American Chamber of Commerce, serves as a guide to help businesses enter and succeed in Singapore and South East Asia markets.
