Members of the U.S. Embassy Singapore community joined hundreds of volunteers on July 27 for the Big Beach clean-up along East Coast Park organized by Seven Clean Seas. The team filled up several bags of trash, mainly consisting of styrofoam and plastic wrappers. This international event, with clean-ups in Brazil and the UK, organized volunteers from around the world to clean up plastic from the ocean.
