U.S. Embassy Singapore-ITE Mentoring Program 2018

Every setback is an opportunity, every challenge a chance – that’s the message of the U.S. Embassy Singapore-ITE Mentoring Program, now kicking off its sixth season. 35 alumni of U.S. Government exchange programs are paired with 40 Institute of Technical Education, Singapore(ITE) students for a six-month long program designed to empower students to solve problems, not avoid them.

At the opening session, U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath described the challenges she overcame on her leadership journey and ITE College Central Principal Dr. Ang Kiam Wee talked about mentors who helped him along the way.
