If you are a male U.S. citizen between the age of 18 and 26 you are required by law to register with the Selective Service; this includes dual national citizens. You must register within 30 days of your 18th birthday. If you fail to register you may be ineligible for federal student aid, most federal jobs, and federal job training. To register go to Selective Service System (SSS) webpage at Register Online. For further information visit the SSS Frequently Asked Questions webpage.
U.S. embassies and consulates overseas assist the Selective Service System with its registration program abroad.
