Acting Deputy Chief of Mission Tor Petersen congratulates one of 16 participants from 6 ASEAN member states for completing the Strengthening National Preparedness in CBRNE Threats workshop on July 13.

Through the Third Country Training Program (TCTP), the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation partnered with Singapore’s Civil Defence Academy co-hosted a workshop on Strengthening National Preparedness

Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Threats. The five-day workshop aimed to enhance CBRNE capabilities by creating a network of regional partnerships to promote and support the development and implementation of national CBRNE policies.
