President Donald J. Trump and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on September 23, 2019. They celebrated our two countries’ longstanding partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting free, fair, and reciprocal trade.
They also renewed the 1990 Memorandum of Understanding Regarding United States Use of Facilities in Singapore, extending it for another 15 years.
