President Biden joined Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, CEOs, and other public and private sector leaders eager to strike global business investment deals for the United States and share insights on the latest innovations and trends in an effort to support and create jobs.

“Since taking office, President Biden has made our economic recovery a top priority – and growing U.S. trade and foreign direct investment are an important component of that,” said U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo. “I am proud to stand alongside him in making a powerful case to the world that the U.S. is the best place for any nation to do business.”

In addition to President Biden and Commerce Secretary Raimondo, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Small Business Administration Administrator Isabel Guzman, 28 state Governors, top CEOs, and small business leaders will be among the 500 speakers at the highest-profile event dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment in the United States.

In his remarks, Secretary Blinken said that State Department officers work hand-in-hand with members of the Department of Commerce’s Foreign Commercial Service in more than 75 countries and added “Our large presence and close coordination reflect our dedication to growing prosperity around the world.”
