Micron opens Fab10 facility expansion, demonstrating confidence in Singapore
Chargé d’Affaires Mansour joined Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Heng Swee Keat to congratulate Micron on the successful expansion of their Fab10 facility in Singapore. Micron has invested $15 billion in Singapore and employs 8,000 people here – more than one-fifth of Singapore’s 35,000-strong semiconductor industry workforce. The American company has also given more than $150,000 to the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University to encourage science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) studies.
