On February 22, Counselor for Public Affairs Camille Dawson hosted a lunch in honor of Ambassador Jeffrey Bleich, Chair of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. The Embassy team and Ambassador Bleich connected with Singaporean and American current and past participants in The Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries.
During their discussion, Ambassador Bleich highlighted the important role that Fulbright alumni play in strengthening U.S.-Singapore connections long after their exchange program concludes. In Singapore, our Fulbright alumni are leaders in government, business, education, technology, the arts, and beyond.
