FCC Chairman Ajit Pai visited Singapore to meet with government officials and industry leaders to continue to grow the robust U.S.-Singapore partnership on telecommunications innovations and cybersecurity.
He discussed U.S.-Singapore shared interests on issues like 5G and services like telemedicine with Singapore Minister of Communications and Information S Iswaran. He also met with Chief Executive of Infocomm Media Development Authority Tan Kiat How and his team to discuss topics of mutual interest, like 5G spectrum and security policies, anti-robocall initiatives, and more.
Chairman Pai spoke with members of the American Chamber of Commerce about the FCC’s work to advance 5G and promote innovation and issues facing U.S.-based companies in Singapore and across the Indo-Pacific.
