Experts Share Best Practices at the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Regional Workshop

U.S. Embassy Singapore Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath provided opening remarks at the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Regional Workshop organized by Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in coordination with U.S. Department of State, Export Control and Related Border Security. The workshop brought together experts to share best practices in order to foster the capability of country customs administrations to fully develop and sustain their own AEO programs.

CDA Syptak-Ramnath warmly welcomed delegates from participating countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Cambodia: “We look forward to contributing our experience and learning from others to ensure that ours and other AEO programs are as responsive as possible to their goal of securing the supply chain and enabling facilitation of compliant trade.”
