Contracting Opportunities

The General Services Office of the U.S. Embassy in Singapore seeks to contract with responsible firms for the delivery of a variety of goods and/or services.

Below are current opportunities.  Interested companies must follow the specific instructions in each Solicitation/Request for quotation (RFQ). To be considered, companies must be able to meet, satisfy, understand and comply with the requirements of the Solicitation/Request for quotation (RFQ).

March 1, 2019

To: Prospective Quoters

Subject: Request for Quotations No. 19SN1019Q0003

The Embassy of the United States of America invites quotes for supply of food, beverages and related services for the U.S. Embassy’s Independence Day Celebration 2019.

The issuance of the RFQ is anticipated to be March 15, 2019. Interested quoters shall contact Grace Ng (ngyl@state.gov) in order to receive the RFQ document.  Details to be provided by the company are:

  • Name and address of company
  • Name of requestor and designation
  • Contact details – email address, office telephone and mobile phone

The due date and time for this RFQ is April 15, 2019 @ 4.30 pm. Please read and follow the submission instructions stated in the RFQ.

Companies doing business with the US Government are required to register in the “SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT” (SAM) when requested as part of the RFQ.  The entire process is free of charge.

Quoters should start the registration in the following order:

  • Apply for a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE)
  • Apply for DUN & Bradstreet (D&B)
  • Apply for an account in SAM
  • Start SAM registration

As registration may be a lengthy process, interested quoters should initiate the registration as soon as possible.  The confirmation that the SAM registration is successful must be provided with the quote.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.  The Government intends to award a contract based on initial quotes, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The Embassy of the United States of America invites vendors to provide quotations for event planning services for the Independence Day event for the Embassy.

The issuance of the RFQ is anticipated to be February 22, 2019. Interested quoters shall contact Saskia Luk at Lukky@state.gov in order to receive the RFQ document.  Details to be provided by the company are:

  • Name and address of company
  • Name of requestor and designation
  • Contact details – email address, office telephone and mobile phone

The due date and time for this RFQ is March 22, 2018 @ 4.30 pm.  Please read RFQ for submission instructions.

Please note that all companies doing business with the U.S. Government must register on the System for Award Management (SAM) available at https://www.sam.gov

To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required.  There is no cost involved in obtaining these numbers or registration in SAM.  However, the entire process may take up to two months so interested quoters are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder. The resultant SAM number must be provided with the quote.

The issuance of the RFQ is anticipated to be February 8, 2019. Interested quoters shall contact Grace Ng (NgYL@state.gov) in order to receive the RFQ document. Details to be provided by the quoters are:

  • Name  and address of company
  • Name of requestor and designation
  • Contact details – email address, office telephone and mobile phone

The quoters will receive a soft copy of the document via email on February 8, 2019. Instructions for submission will be stated in the RFQ.

Your quotation should reach us no due no later than 4:30 p.m. Singapore time, Friday, February 22, 2019.  No quotation will be accepted after this time.

SUBJECT:         Request for Quotation No. 19SN1019Q0500

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following cabling work to be carried out at the US Embassy Singapore, 27 Napier Road, Singapore 258508.

  1. To install, terminate and test cables between drivers’ room and the rear compound access control point (CAC) and remove the legacy cables.
  2. Replace cabling in the drivers’ room.
  3. To install fiber optic cabling from the Chancery Telecommunications Services Entrance Facility (TSEF) room to the rear patio within the Embassy compound.

The Embassy will conduct a site visit on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. hours Singapore time, and all prospective quoters are invited to attend.  Companies wishing to attend the site visit must email the name of the company and full name(s) of attendees to Vera Wheeler at WheelerY@state.gov by 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018.  Attendance is limited to two (2) persons per company. Parking is not available at the Embassy.

If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 18 that follows this letter.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
