April 7, 2021

The Fulbright Program celebrates its 75th anniversary this year!

To commemorate this anniversary, we are launching a #Fulbright75 video series – “Drawing from the Fulbright Experience.” The series will feature illustrious Singaporean Fulbright alumni who will share how their experiences in the United States have shaped their lives and spurred professional and personal advancement.

In March in honor of Women’s History Month, we kickstart this series with Corinna Lim, the Executive Director of women’s rights and gender equality non-governmental organization (NGO) the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE Singapore).

Find out how Corinna’s Fulbright experience inspired her to make a difference in the world we live in today.

On April 7 in celebration of World Health Day, we feature Dr. Jeremy Lim, a health expert in Singapore who wears many different hats. He is co-founder and CEO of Southeast Asia’s first precision gut microbiome company, the Asian Microbiome Library (AMILI), and director of the Leadership Institute for Global Health Transformation at the National University of Singapore.

Despite his busy schedule, Jeremy is a community leader who volunteers extensively. He is a board member at Dover Park Hospice and the Special Needs Trust Company, as well as chairperson of Tampines Meridian Junior College’s School Advisory Committee and HealthServe’s Medical Affairs Committee.

Find out how Jeremy’s Fulbright experience inspired him to become the active community organizer he is today!
