Small acts, when done together, are impactful. Nothing demonstrated this more than on Corporate Community Day when members of the American business community pitched in to give back to the community.
Joined by Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education and Manpower and Mayor of the South West Community Development Council (CDC), Chargé d’Affaires Rafik Mansour and 250 AmCham Singapore volunteers delivered care packages to more than 500 vulnerable households in the heartlands of Singapore.
In his remarks at the event, Chargé Mansour said: “Today’s successful event clearly demonstrates the American business community’s commitment to giving back to Singapore by helping support the communities where they live and work. I appreciate the generous time and effort shown by all who have participated in today’s event. I encourage Americans in Singapore to continue to uphold our strong values of supporting friends and neighbors.”
We’re pleased to support the American business community’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and promote the true American spirit of giving back.
